So, finally I am here – joining the blogging bandwagon. Well, I always intended to start this since the very first time I heard the term “blogging” but things never really worked out due to the very basic problem with my mindset – What will friends think? Will they appreciate or will they ridicule my effort? What’s the use of spending any time or effort on this?
However, over the period of time, I guess I have realized that people seldom care about what others feel or think and as far as friends are concerned, they have already accepted me, the way I am. And they will always find one or the other way to tease you if they really want to. So here I am all set, ready to post my first entry.
But then, what should the content be. After all it’s “MY” first blog. “Pehli pehli baar blogging ki hai, kuuch na samajh me aaye main kyaa likhu” (1). But on second thought, I realize that, I am similar to any other person on this forum. And after all, what is my aim behind this? Well, just want to capture my thoughts and experiences. So don’t really care to make this anything special. Just keep it simple, straight from the heart – Direct dil se.
All said and done, you still need a topic to write about. This is again an issue. You have so many things on your mind – sports, movies, cricket, bollywood, TV, news, current affairs, reading, certifications… What??? Phew, not again!!! Get rid of that myth my boy – There is much more to READING besides certifications – trust me.
Coming back to the original question – what do you want to right about? If it is about sharing your thoughts, put down whatever is going on your mind. Well, that brings me to the very purpose behind starting this. “30 saal ki zindagi mein aise kitne din hain jo tumhe yaad hain - 1, 2, 3 , 5 , 10 , 15, 30… 30 din hain na? 30 saal ki zindagi aur bas 30 din... baaki ke dino ka kya hua?”(2). Very often when I try to recollect things from past, I realize that although I remember most of the important things, I really can’t relate to the feelings or exact emotions I went through at that instant. I guess this medium will help me capture that. Sounds a good enough reason to spare some time from a very busy schedule (Busy… Khaak busy, cut the crap man).
So, here’s presenting my first – Kaifiyat (3).
Boy, you have already written enough. If you continue this way, it may soon turn out to be a story or even a thesis… This is not your engineering exam paper where just scribbling mindlessly would earn you more brownie points. Stop it, right here, right now…
P.S.
